glittergirl -- alt Sandman, ultrafine glitter isntead of sand


   I am the Glitter Girl.  I have taken the place of the King of Dreams.  It was not a hostile takeover or anything--he was consumed by a dream vortex that destroyed his realm.  He was brooding over a girl who had left him, and as he was Daniel and not Morpheus, he wasn't quite prepared--he didn't notice the dream vortex until it was too late.  I have been watching him since Morpheus died, and wasn't at all surprised when Daniel followed.  You'd think he would have learned not to be so *careless* by now.  He didn't even have a new body, this time.  I have taken care not to limit myself--that has caused the Dream King's downfall many times.  I am now the Queen of Dreams, but I am not the Sandwoman--I do not use sand.  I've always thought that was silly, so I decided to be even sillier--I use glitter.  He never really used it to make people go to sleep, though.  People do that on their own.  His sand was an intoxicant to humans, but I don't think he ever actually *used* it for anything.
